Witch Blast is a completely free roguelite inspired by The Binding of Isaac, which is, without a doubt, one of the most influential games in the genre. In this adventure, players control a young apprentice wizard who has to try and enter into the depths of a dungeon full of all kinds of enemies. Luckily, relics and new spells can be found along the way. The gameplay in Witch Blast is essentially identical to that of The Binding of Isaac. Each area of the game is divided into a series of interconnected rooms whose enemies you have to clear using your spells. With the coins you find in some very specific areas on your way, you can buy new skills and spells for your hero. By default, the controls let you move your character using the WASD keys and shoot using the arrow keys. If you have a controller (PlayStation, Xbox or any other kind of gamepad), however, you can configure it in the options menu. There, you can also adjust the volume, language settings and even customize the keys however you like. Witch Blast is a very fun roguelite that fans of The Binding of Isaac will love. The game offers a similar experience, but with enough new things and differences to seem fresh. It also has very nice visuals and a pretty cool soundtrack.
