The description of Where's My Water? 2 - Play With New Friends

More puzzle fun in the sewers with Swampy and the gangWhere's My Water? 2 is the follow-up to Disney's popular puzzle game in which you need to deliver water to Swampy the crocodile so he can take a shower.Where's My Water? 2 Good, clean funThe original Where's My Water? was a big hit in the app stores, and already spawned big tie-in spin-offs such as Where's My Perry? and Where's My Mickey? Where's My Water? 2 follows more or less the same format but adds new challenges to the basic gameplay.Where's My Water? 2 sees you digging down through earth strategically in order to guide the water through. This can involve activating switches, manipulating steam, and turning on faucets. Where the sequel is different is that it contains new 'Duck Rush' levels, in which you need to quickly dig down as the screen moves, ensuring that your water doesn't get stuck at the top of the screen, while collecting all the ducks along the way down to the finish.Duck RushOther additions to Where's My Water? 2 include challenges where you can play an alternate version of a level. For example, the level might be flipped upside down, or you need to complete it without getting any ducks. There are also new types of ducks to unlock and objects to collect, as well as power-ups that help you through the game.challengesPerhaps the most significant change though is that Where's My Water? 2 now includes an 'Energy'-based playing system, where you need to accumulate - or purchase - energy in order to keep playing. Energy runs fairly quickly, so after the first few levels you'll need to either wait a few minutes before you play a level, connect to Facebook or purchase energy. It's also possible to bother your Facebook friends to gift you energy.'Energy'-based playing systemThe energy system employed by Where's My Water? 2 tends to break the rhythm of the game and many will wish Disney had offered a paid-for version of the game, rather than requiring the user to make in-app purchases. There are more than 100 levels in total in Where's My Water? 2, so it will take you a while to beat the game, even if you're paying out to extend your energy the whole time.more than 100 levelsSimple to pick upThe controls in Where's My Water? 2 are the same as the first game and hence very easy to pick up, even for younger children. You basically draw your finger across the area of dirt you want to dig. Along the way you'll figure out how the various switches and obstacles work pretty quickly.draw your fingerThe menu system is straightforward too, and written instructions pop up at the right point to explain more about a new game mode, level type, or collectable.Wet and wild graphicsYet again, Where's My Water? 2 is a polished looking game, with a real Disney feel to it. There are three main characters, each with our personalities that shine through in the actions and noises that they make. The water physics are very good too (though we still prefer those of Sprinkle)three main charactersThe verdictWhere's My Water? 2 sticks more or less to the same formula which made the first version such a success. The new pay-as-you-play system might annoy a few fans of the series, however.Where's My Water? 2 sticks more or less to the same formula which made the first version such a success.
