The description of The Interview for Windows - Play With New Friends
Nail your creepy job interviewThe Interview is a free first-person adventure video game wherein you must successfully complete your interview at a strange company. Developed by Geoff Alday, this 3D indie horror game is a creepy mockumentary on corporate life. It’s a short game that can be completed in under 30 minutes but the delivery of the unsettling atmosphere is done decently enough. It also has random hilarious parts that actually heighten your wariness as you progress. The InterviewThe Interviewadventureindie horror gamecreepy mockumentaryon corporate liferandom hilarious partsDefinitely not a suspicious companyIn The Interview, you play as a hopeful job applicant who arrives at an interview in a strangely-rundown company. The road to completing the interview and the various challenges posed to you is peculiar and often filled with either quiet jumpscares or bleak office quotes framed on the walls. Your goal is to land that job offer—however, you can also change your mind and turn it down near the end.The Interviewa hopeful job applicantcompleting the interview various challengesquiet jumpscaresbleak office quotesThis game can be played with just your keyboard and mouse. The W, A, S, and D keys are for walking and you must press Shift to run. Meanwhile, interacting with objects and dialogue choices requires the left mouse button. To pause the game, simply press Escape. The gameplay isn’t really taxing most of the time as you’ll just be exploring, doing a bit of puzzle-solving, and answering questions. The game is highly linear even with the different dialogue options you can choose. There’s only one ending scenario, even if you decline the job offer, so there’s not much replay value here. The tense and gloomy atmosphere is great but it lacks substance sometimes and can feel too short.highly linearnot much replay valueNeeds a little more oomphAll in all, The Interview is a nice little psychological horror indie game if you want something that mixes fear and dark humor in one go. While it doesn’t fully scratch that horror itch with the small number of jumpscares and creepy scenarios, it does well enough for a short stint and has the potential for improvement and expansions. However, if you’re looking for a more impactful horror experience, this isn’t a recommendation. The Interviewmixes fear and dark humorpotential for improvement and expansions
