The Battle for Middle-Earth 2 is the second part of the real-time strategy (RTS) video game of the same name. This title goes further into the facts narrated in The Lord of the Rings novels written by J.R.R.Tolkien, and it allows the player to relive the intense battles that take place during the dangerous journey that takes Frodo and the rest of the Fellowship from The Shire and then Rivendell to Sauron's domain in Mordor, a volcanic region of the Middle-Earth.

Without a doubt, this sequel includes a lot more of the story behind The Lord of the Rings than the first instalment, offering us the possibility to take part in battles that hadn't been included in the films.
With regard to the game's technical details, The Battle for Middle-Earth 2 stands out due to its playability and the fact that it's a lot easier to play than other RTS games like Empire Total War. Another aspect worth highlighting is the advanced artificial intelligence (AI) that will make the confrontations and battles a more enjoyable experience.
