The games feature a sort of cyberpunk, mind-mapping aesthetic as you dodge bullets in a first person shooter where time only moves when you do.Running, Out Of TimeThe core of SUPERHOT and its sequel both is that you can dodge bullets by moving very slowly, so that things only happen at a pace you set. This lets you see what enemies are doing and appraise the situation, making the game more tactical than a typical action shooter. Turning around also uses up time, however, meaning that the VR controls can cause slip-ups... at least in the original SUPERHOT, which hasn't been updated much for VR or to match SUPERHOT VR's gameplay.
