SKP Import for KeyCreator is a SketchUp SKP file import add-in for KeyCreator. It gives KeyCreator the ability to import objects from SketchUp SKP files as solids models in KeyCreator.SKP Import for KeyCreator reads polygon mesh data stored in SKP files and imports it into KeyCreator. A polygon mesh in a SKP file is comprised of a set of triangular faces. SKP Import for KeyCreator creates trimmed planar surfaces for each triangle/quad and knits them together to create a body. If the polygon mesh is closed (i.e. it does not contain boundary edges) then SKP Import for KeyCreator will create a closed body feature, otherwise an open surface will be created.SKP Import for KeyCreator is designed to be extremely user friendly and easy to understand. Once installed, it must be loaded into the KeyCreator environment. To load the add-in follow the simple instructions in the ReadMe file. Once loaded it adds new commands to KeyCreator.
