Sherwood Smackdown is a turn based strategy game in which players can take part in a series of battles set in a fantasy world where problems are solved using magic, and the blade of a sword.At the beginning of the game you'll have to choose between one of the two opposing sides: the good guys and the bad guys. In the first group you'll find a noble knight, an old magician, and a healer girl; while the other side has a dark warrior, a dark sorcerer, and a jester.Combat is turn-based and set on a scenario that is divided into squares. Each character can use a certain number of action points which can be split between his movements and attacks. For example, you could make a character not move and invoke three spells instead, or just make him move a lot.Before every battle you'll have to enlist the units you want to participate in it. You can choose if you want to take more knights than magicians, or more healers, etc. It’s all up to you.Sherwood Smackdown is a fun turn based strategy game with colorful graphics and a rather simple gameplay which will be very much appreciated by fans of the genre who are looking for something light to pass the time with.
