The description of PowersVR - Play With New Friends
PowersVR is a VR game where you have super powers PowersVR allows you to play around in what is a small semi-openworld setting, and you get to mess around with guns and super powers. Occasionally, you may also take on an enemy and try out your powers or guns on them. PowersVR remembers that VR games are supposed to be fun Most VR games that were released around the same time as PowersVR were built only to allow people to play around with their VR sets. Quite a few games in this era are soulless and boring because they are exploiting the technology and nothing more. PowersVR exploits the technology by allowing you to fly around and shoot different powers/weapons, but it also throws in a few enemies so that you have something to do with your super powers. The developers remembered that people want to do more than test out their VR headsets. PowersVR sets the superhero standard for this era’s VR games The graphics are so flat and ugly because technology was not on the side of PowersVR when it was created. Things have to look flat and textureless because that is how VR games were made when PowersVR was created. Yet, the developers have used bright colours and a cartoon styling in a way that shows they really put the effort in to making a good game. The game is too short, and even with the robust number of super powers on offer, it still feels empty and lacking. However, compared to its competition at the time of release, it is the difference between Mercenaries (PS2) and Cannon Fodder (Amiga), in that other developers have some catching up to do. The developers of PowersVR were one of the few on the right track to creating interesting and fun games when they created this game.
