PicTexter is a simple utility whch will let you create ASCII images from your favourite pictures.
PicTexter is extremely easy to use, because it is housed in an intuitive interface and it doesn’t include useless buttons or options.
ASCII art tries to represent any image with ASCII characters strategically positioned. If you want to see them perfectly you have to look at them from a certain distance.
Probably, if you want to make an image manually it will be really difficult, and that’s why PicTexter is good for you, because from now on if you want to create an ASCII picture you only have to load the image you want to convert into ASCII characters and PicTexter will do the rest.
PicTexter supports BMP, JPG, JPEG, GIF, PNG, TGA and TIFF.
