Play as a neural detective tasked with exploring the minds of the criminally insane while unravelling a series of clues.Enter the mindSet in a dark dystopian future where all of humanity is open to emotional investigation, observer tells the tales of Dan Lazarski and his work as a neural detective trying to discover evidence within the subconscious mind of the insane. Gameplay consists of searching through levels for clues with the aid of a scanner. There is no combat and very limited horror elements, making the game more of a walking simulator than anything else. The main story is under ten hours including side quests with most of the enjoyment coming from exploring the dark and strange world. Puzzles are fairly obvious with little challenge meaning that observer is more of a passive experience than a traditional game. Individual players will have their own thoughts on this style of gameplay, but the overall high graphical quality and world building earn praise.Look don't touchobserver is a high quality immersive experience lacking in real gameplay and length. Fans of similar walking simulators or dystopian futures will find lots to enjoy exploring every nook and cranny but others may find themselves disappointed.
