The description of NetNotes - Play With New Friends
Save web pages offlineIf you're using the web for research, while your history and bookmarks can help keep track of useful pages, they can be a bit awkward.NetNotes is essentially a note taking application especially for the web. It works with IE or Firefox (for which you need an add-on), and adds an export command to the right click menu. Any page you are on, right click and choose export to Canaware NetNotes. This will open the program, and the web page will have been loaded into the program. From here you can save it, edit it, and organize it in your library. The library is a standard tree design, as you'll be used to from using Windows. This makes it very accessible. NetNotes loads pages quickly, and the edit feature means taking out text or images is a cinch. The biggest issue with NetNotes is that not all web pages work well. Usually all the information is intact, but often background images and layout are lost. The usefulness of NetNotes rests on whether this is important to you. Also, if a web page has a name with a characters like |:\ or / it won't save, and you need to edit. This is not a massive problem, but very irritating in 2009.NetNotes is a capable not taker, though it's a little rough around the edges.
