The description of Kikin - Play With New Friends
Make your searches work for youSearching the internet can be confusing - irrelevant information, results about the wrong subject, inaccurate information. Any little tool that can help your searches is a great thing - so give Kikin a try. This Firefox add-on differs from most extensions as it is configured from the Kikin website. The My Kikin link under Tools redirects you to it as well. Here you'll be able to link up your Facebook, Twitter and Google Reader accounts for extra-personalized results. My KikinKikin also allows you to prioritize various information sources, among them Amazon, Softonic and YouTube. Unfortunately, however, you can't add new sources. Kikin helps your browsing by adding a separate box above your standard search results, highlighting the information that comes from your favorite sources. You can flick through the information by using the tabs to change from source to source and the arrow buttons to navigate within a source. Where available, you can choose to see the whole article or information piece in your browser without opening a new window or tab.I spent a little time searching with Kikin, but I didn't always find results for the things I wanted to find out about. That said, when I did find information, the functionality added by Kikin was really useful, especially when I linked to my Google Reader account. Kikin seems to be in the early stages of development, and it still has a few rough edges to smooth out. Even so, it has lots of potential, and I will be watching it with interest in the months to come. It's early days for Kikin, but it looks like a very interesting addition to your searches. It's early days for Kikin, but it looks like a very interesting addition to your searches.Firefox 4 and IE9 support supportChangesFirefox 4 and IE9 support supportFirefox 4 and IE9 support supportFirefox 4 and IE9 support support
