This is a cover based shooter, that sees the protagonists working their way through waves and waves of enemies in the dark and claustrophobic Shanghai.The controls feel a little loose, and sometimes getting the right cover can be awkward, and while the camera positioning is handled well, you are not given very good cross-hairs to aim with. This means performing headshots at distance is more or less luck, and pushes you towards spraying bullets around instead. Failing to get cover can result in accidental death, which is annoying.The jittery camera starts off looking cool, but after a while playing it gets tiresome. The cover-and-shoot action too starts to get repetitive, as there isn't really any imagination put into the gameplay. If you enjoy endless shooting, you'll like Kane and Lynch 2 but even so there are much better games of this type.Kane and Lynch 2 is certainly an improvement over its predecessor. However, the difficulty is not well balanced, and the enemy artificial intelligence is still really poor. The story is pretty pulpy, and the dialogue isn't very well written.
