A psychedelic VR simulation where you see lights and patterns Flock VR is the modern version of a kaleidoscope in that you look at through the VR headset. Take a look and you see a bunch of patterns and colours. You do have a slight amount of control over what you see and the music, but only through spinning your control sticks. Spin your controller to make patterns Flock VR attaches two ugly balls of flat light to your controllers by pieces of string. It is like having a tennis ball attached to a piece of string, but it is all virtual and it is attached to your controllers. You spin your controllers and the balls of light on string will spin. This attracts virtual insects, which are actually flecks of light, and those will attract virtual birds, which look like glowing paper airplanes. Spin the orbs in different ways and it affects the flocks of birds, which also affects the music and visual effects that you see. Is there a target audience for this sort of thing? It is odd what counts as a VR game these days. Flock VR and the games before it are so primitive and half-finished that there are going to be people who pay good money for this game when it is not even a game, it is just something to do. If you have tried every free game you can find and you have too much money, then spend a little on this game, but there are far better things you can spend your money on.
