One of the most widely used programming languages is C++, and among the different tools available to develop code in this language, we have Code::Blocks. This is an IDE or integrated development environment featuring a user interface with a series of resources for programming in C/C++ and Fortran.
Extensible through plugins and developed under an open-source license
This IDE offers the user the basic development tools for any project, but you can use plugins to extend its functions. In other words, you can add a plugin to give it any feature necessary to extend its functionality. It will allow you to perform the entire code development process, from writing to compiling and debugging.
These are its main features:
Developed using a GPLv3 open-source license, at no cost to the user.
Written in C++, so no additional libraries are required.
Extensible through the installation of plugins.
Compatible with different code supports (Windows, Linux, and macOS).
Customizable interface with a sober and functional design.
The automatic detection of compilers installed on your computer allows you to choose between any of them.
OpenGL, DirectX, and QT4 templates.
A good alternative to other IDEs for developing C++ programs, such as Turbo C++ or C++Builder.
