The description of Celeste - Play With New Friends

A frantic 2D platforming gameCeleste offers players a colourful pixilated experience where you play in a 2D platform world. You are able to double jump and cling on to walls and objects. Speed your way through the brightly coloured story in a frantic and energetic manner.Bright, sparkly, and unforgivingly brutalCeleste is not brutal because the controls are slow or unresponsive, it is brutal because there are plenty of ways to crash and burn. The controls are not ideal, but they are not the reason why playing Celeste is so difficult. You will have to master the odd controls and learn how to understand the landscape so you recognize what are brightly shaded pieces of grass and what are shiny jagged rocks. It is hard to complain about the pixilated graphics because it is obvious what you are getting before you buy the game, ergo you should not buy the game if you do not like pixilated graphics. The soundtrack is other-worldly and sometimes dips into retro gaming music. The difficultly curve is just too brutalIt is not that the game is unwinnable, it is just that the players have to master the game in order to play it through to the end and see all of the content. The controls are intuitive in terms of what does what, but are inconveniently annoying when it comes to undertaking an action. For example, the character doesn't stick to walls automatically, you have to press a button to hold on. Plus, the double-jump function requires more than one button being pressed.
