Bioclipse is a rich-client for chemo and bioinformatics, providing a means to integrate various open source tools available in those fields. The approaches of integration are based on the Eclipse Rich-Client-Platform include the use of common Views and Editors to process data, and the use of the extension point architecture for integration of third party libraries.The Bioclipse project is aimed at creating a Java-based, open source, visual platform for chemo- and bioinformatics based on the Eclipse Rich Client Platform (RCP).
