Follow the river and shoot enemies in VR Bazaar puts you on a magic carpet, and the carpet follows a river where you collect trinkets and kill the occasional enemy creature. You do this in a brightly coloured Middle Eastern town. Similar to a rail shooting game Bazaar puts you on a magic carpet where you fly through a Middle Eastern city. The graphics are truly basic and are very bad. You have to fly around and collect trinkets while avoiding snapping crocodiles and water snakes. You are able to shoot at some of the enemies, and you have a mild amount of control over where the flying carpet goes. For the most part, the carpet follows the river. One may assume the game started as a boating game, but the developers maybe thought it would be quicker and cheaper to design a flying carpet. Only the most bored people should play One has to feel some sympathy for developers who released games in the same year as Bazaar was released because they had such poor quality technology to play with and such terrible programming tools that it was viciously difficult to create a good VR game with good graphics. However, this doesn't excuse the fact that dropping a player in a boring VR environment with poor graphics and little to do is not what most would call a game. The beautiful shading in this game side simply a cover for the fact that the graphics are awful, and collecting trinkets becomes very boring very quickly.
