Batch Image Commander Editor's Review Batch Image Commander is designed as a batch image processor made for command line operation and as a System Tray Icon application for timer based operation. You can re-size images by pixels, by percentage or preset multipliers, create thumbnails set brightness and contrast, create negatives from images, create grayscale images. The Command Line Operation mode allows you to use the program as part of a cronjob or to provide functionability as part of a Windows based CGI or part of an in-house program. This utility the Command Prompt mode of Windows and does not have any user interface. The list of image formats available for conversion includes: JPEG, TIFF, BMP, PNG and GIF. You can convert images to JPEG, TIFF, BMP, PNG and GIF. The configuration mode allows you to create and save custom image processing profiles and also to insert text captions. Pluses: The timer and possibility to process entire batches of images save you a lot of time. Drawbacks / flaws: The interface is not very appealing, hence it appears to be a bit difficult to configure. Errors might appear or the program might crash on some machines.
