Alone in the Dark 5 is the fifth part of the successful Alone in the Dark saga. This game, which first appeared in 1992, is one of the most highly acclaimed of its genre known as survival horror, which has given us titles such as Resident Evil and Silent Hill.

The first part of Alone in the Dark was revolutionary, no just for the quality of the graphics that were hailed at the time, but also for the amazing atmosphere it managed to create. We got to chose from two characters, and then ventured into the mansion that was said to be haunted with all kinds of malicious forces. The game also had many references to the works of Lovecraft and Poe. It was an outright success.
A new adventure for Edward Carnby
In Alone in the Dark 5 we will determine the luck of Edward Carnby, the main character since the first instalment, who wakes up in a hotel room with no recollection of his own identity. We must help him recover his memory while facing a series of beasts from the underworld that have taken over the streets of New York.
