Until now, RAR was the only application that could compress files into RAR format, forcing you to learn to use the command line if you wanted to do so.The developers of other compression/decompression tools couldn't include the proprietary software, and Rarify can't either... but it does have, in theory, a graphic user interface so that you can create a RAR file without using Terminal.We say 'in theory' because it's not so much an interface as it is an icon on your Dock. Just drag and drop your file onto the icon, and it will compress or decompress as needed.Don't worry about installing RAR, since Rarify will download and install the latest version of RAR if it doesn't detect it in your system.
