The description of iFinance - Play With New Friends
Take control of your financesI've never tried a personal finance application on Mac that really impressed me, but iFinance is definitely an exception.iFinance is an elegantly-presented and highly-polished finance application that allows you to monitor your income and outgoings, as well as stocks, in a very easy to use interface. When you setup iFinance, you are given the chance to import settings and data from iFinance 2 if you've used it before. Otherwise, you create a new iFinance 3 account and start from scratch. The main interface is extremely easy to use and read. Down the left-hand side you have your Funds, Budgets and Stocks, followed by Diagrams according to the period you want to monitor. Click on each subsection within these categories to display data on the right-hand side, which is the main window. When you first open the main interface, arrows indicate what each button does and what they correspond too.You can search transactions at any time using the magnifying glass and add and delete them using the plus and minus buttons. You can also add stocks for monitoring very easily and update current exchange rates in a flash. Apple stocks are already loaded by default but you can enter a new one by clicking on the Stocks menu. If you don't know the abbreviation for the stock you want to follow, iFinance links you to Yahoo! Finance, where it will search automatically for you. There is much more to iFinance than this though. An elegant and easy-to-use interface combine with a powerful analytical engine to make this a great option for anyone new to finance management. There is much more to iFinance than this though.
