While Apple might take issue with that, there's no denying that this is a hugely impressive zip utility.iArchiver allows you to create, extract and convert archives through a simple drag and drop system. The tool is divided into 3 tabs - Create, Extract and Convert. Any files that you need to extract or unzip simply need to be dragged into the extract target. The format that you want to convert to or from needs to be defined in the preferences. It would have been better if iArchiver auto-detected this but it's no big deal, especially if you're just dealing with files of one compression type.While processing files, iArchiver gives you a status reading to show you how far it has progressed. Although the program is supposed to be able to handle multiple files at once, it does seem to get "confused" and mingle files together when it's extracting at the same time.
