The description of ECMerge - Play With New Friends
Ellié Computing Merge, better known as ECMerge, is a tool that's widely used by programmers to link and merge files and folders. The program works either through its original interface or command line, although this second option requires more technical knowledge.ECMerge is useful for both programmers and general users who simply want to know the difference between two files or folders, or even if they want to merge or link documents. All you have to do is insert the files that you want to compare and click on the statistics module. This window will show the conflicts that exist between both documents, and in the case of text files, the differences between them will be shown using colored bars. One of the program's most remarkable features is the option to also select files from an FTP or other computer from the same local network. ECMerge supports text documents, XML, ZIP, and RAR and can generate reports in Patch, XML, and HTML formats.
