Diet Sleuth will then automatically calculate your caloric intake, fat grams, carbohydrates, fiber, protein, cholesterol, along with sodium, potassium, and calcium. The choice of foods is huge - you can select from over 5,000 different foods in 21 categories, covering everything from fast food to baby food.If a food isn't there, you can create and edit your own in a separate category and enter nutritional information for your own custom foods. You can even exchange dietary info with other Diet Sleuth users and even recipes. Most importantly, Diet Sleuth keeps track of your daily weight and calculates your Estimated Energy Requirements (EER), which basically works out how many calories you burn each day.On the downside, users have found that the cost of Diet Sleuth only includes one year of updates and requires re-purchasing the program after that, which isn't really acceptable.
