The goal of the Alchemist's Challenge is to help people learn everything related to the chemical elements found on the periodic table using a series of tests and quizzes.Six challenges are included with the program; they help you test your knowledge of symbols for different chemical elements and ions, the electron configuration of the elements, balancing chemical equations, etc.To answer the questions all you have to do is enter the values for the formula, or select the correct chemical compound from the scroll down menu.Alchemist's Challenge does not include a periodic table on which to find the different elements, but it does have a list with the name and formula for ions, acids, and covalent compounds.NoteFor Mac OS X 10.3 or above.
