The description of Zombies Ate My Friends - Play With New Friends
Comic book zombie massacresIn Zombies Ate My Friends, you're up against the undead, where monsters are spread far and wide around the city. You'll have to battle the undead and finish them off with various weapons in the search for survivors!Zombies Ate My FriendsZombies are on the hunt for victimsIn the colorful cartoon world of Zombies Ate My Friends, there's a problem: the undead have spread like the plague. The remaining survivors have barricaded themselves indoors and must be rescued by you!the undead have spread like the plagueShaky controlsZombies Ate My Friends is played in 2D, meaning you look at characters and surroundings from the side. By swiping your finger, you can look from side to side, and by pressing the screen, you can enter a building. Turn-based battles mean that after you attack a zombie, the zombie can counter, but a tap on the screen is all it takes to kill enemies. With each attack, your energy bar empties, although with power-ups you can recharge it. You can also buy more energy with real money. Unfortunately, the touch controls used to move the characters is really disjointed, and you can rarely get any real flow in the game.Turn-based battlesPretty cartoon graphics and great musicWith a 2D side view, Zombies Ate My Friends looks similar to other side-scrollers. The characters are cute and you can customize their appearance, and the game environment and buildings are pretty and full of detail. The music is good too. Where the game fails to meet standards is during the occasional game crashes.similar to other side-scrollersConclusion: Zombie massacre with limited entertainment valueAlthough the graphics and music from Zombies Ate My Friends are good, it's not enough to convince us that this game is fun, mainly because of the shaky controls. It's frustrating (and worrying) that your rapidly emptying energy bar can only be reliably refilled using real money. In short, it feels a bit like a scam.
