A free app for Android, by Dejan Lekić.This application shows the current air quality index (AQI) in the Republic of Serbia. The Index is calculated based on five pollutants: suspended particles up to 10 and 2.5 microns in diameter (PM10 and PM.5), sulfur dioxide (SO2), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), and ground-level ozone (O3).The AQI is an indication of the air quality in the environment. The values of the Index range from 50 to 100, where higher values indicate better air quality and lower values indicate more pollution.The information is provided by the Serbian Environment Agency. The data is calculated based on real-time measurements from automatic air quality monitoring networks, as well as from the European Air Quality Database and the European Monitoring Network.The application is intended for use by the public, and the data is provided free of charge.
