WhatsApp, despite being the most widely used messaging application in the world, both on Android and iOS, has a good number of users who are not entirely happy with it, who believe that it should incorporate more and better functions and, above all, more personalisation. That is the meaning of MODs, which are variations of WhatsApp that offer more possibilities to its users than the official app, as for example WhatsApp Red does.
Many extra functions for WhatsApp
This app offers a series of functions and features that are not present in the official app, but many of which we have seen, in their own way, in alternatives such as GB WhatsApp, WhatsApp Plus, WhatsApp Aero or FMWhatsApp. They are designed to make the app a little easier to use and include, among many others, some of the following:
Contact status notification.
Contact details accessible in each chat.
Menu of extra functions in each of the chats, such as the possibility of doing web searches, creating a new group or using the voice changer for audio messages.
Contact-specific features, such as the ability to hide the contact's name or mute their calls.
Extra options such as personalised themes, special notifications, the possibility of changing user accounts, scheduling the sending of messages, automatic reply, personalisation of the interface...
In short, a new user experience for WhatsApp. However, you must remember that this is not an official application, so it is possible that with each WhatsApp update some of the functions it offers may be affected (problems are common in receiving and sending text and audio messages, as well as with notifications).
Requirements and additional information:Minimum operating system requirements:
