Worries, stress, anxiety, negative thoughts, depression, and similar disorders are difficult to overcome. However, this app provides us with a guide to help us live a better life thanks to mindfulness and guided meditation (although, of course, it is not a substitute for professional care).
A guide to improving our lives
Waking Up is an app for health, wellness, and psychology that offers guided meditation sessions to enjoy a more balanced life and understand the mind. The app was developed by neuroscientist and philosopher Sam Harris.
He aims to make a difference between his app and other similar apps since he perceives the purpose of meditation as enlightenment. In other words, the idea is not only to reduce stress or feel better, but it invites us to make discoveries in our own minds.
A guide to understanding the mind to live a more balanced and satisfying life.
To do so, it provides theory and practice in the form of meditation guides with audios, short audio lessons, and lectures. It also has daily meditation sessions to develop mindfulness. Of course, all this has a cost, but we will be able to try the first sessions for free by downloading the APK file.
