Valkyrie Rush is a beautiful and frenetic action game that merges two of the most iconic mechanics in the history of video games: on the one hand, it draws directly from the classic arcade game Space Invaders, in which you create formations of fairies to fight against enemy attacks. On the other hand, it also incorporates some aspects of merge games, in which you create level 1 fairies and merge them together to get fairies with higher levels.The premise of Valkyrie Rush is as follows: when you start playing, you'll be greeted by Dodo, a fantastic little creature who explains your new mission as leader and guides you through the game. As stated above, your mission is to invoke different fairies with power crystals and use them to destroy enemy formations. During the waves of enemy attacks, do your best to juggle generating new fairies and merging the ones you already have to make fairies with higher levels. This way, you'll have enough fairies to weaken the enemy while simultaneously increasing the power of your attacks by summoning higher-level fairies. The game has an achievements system and rewards with which you can complete objectives in exchange for more power crystals. Valkyrie Rush is an entertaining game with great graphics, a nice fairy design, and simple and intuitive mechanics, all of which make it perfect for having a good time.
