Templar 2 is a 2D action game where you play as Ruy, a Templar knight on a holy mission to destroy all the demons that are plaguing the earth. Throughout your adventure, however, you'll discover that demons aren't your only problem.The controls in Templar 2 are perfectly adapted to touch screens. On the left side of the screen, you'll have the direction keys and the crouch button (useful for dodging traps), while on the right side, you'll have the attack button, the kick button, the shield button, and the jump button. Learning how to make the most of these actions is essential if you want to survive the most deadly encounters in the game. Templar 2's story is revealed little by little over the more than 50 stages of the game. Throughout these stages, you'll fight against human soldiers and bounty hunters, whose greed has led them to attack you. Of course, you'll also have to fight against zombies and colossal demons, which make things much more difficult. Some of the demons you fight can kill your hero with just a couple of hits, so you'll need to be very careful. Although Templar 2 is mostly focused on action, the game also has a good dose of RPG. This is reflected in several ways. On one hand, as you progress through the story, you can level up and improve your skills. You can also find and equip new pieces of armor to improve Ruy's defense. The damage and defense system, moreover, is very reminiscent of pencil and paper role-playing games, as it's based on dice rolls with bonuses.Templar 2 is an excellent action game with touches of RPG, plus an interesting story and a protagonist you can get to know little by little. The game also has excellent graphics, with an aesthetic reminiscent of some cartoons from the 80s and 90s.
