We all have the WhatsApp app installed on our mobile devices as a result of a kind of ‘group pressure’ effect - in practical terms, we don’t really have much of a choice. Nevertheless, many of us prefer other instant messaging systems, like Telegram, with better security and privacy options and a simpler, stripped-down design.
Having been quite successful so far, this service has now developed unofficial alternatives, such as the APK we are looking at today - Supergram. This is an application that uses the Telegram API and connects directly to its servers in order to offer users the same service, but with more options.
Main features
As well as enjoying the options available on the official client, with this version you will also be able to enjoy the following improvements:
Ghost mode: you can be online without your contacts being able to see that you are online.
Personalized message and chat sorting.
Advanced download manager.
Posts sorted by tabs: group, channel, bots and contacts.
A range of interface fonts.
Allows you to produce drawings and send them to your contacts.
An apparently infinite range of emoji and sticker collections.
Customized interface themes and an option for creating your own themes.
Allows you to locate contacts using ID.
Users can return to a group after having left it.
And many more options.
If you would like to try out a slightly superior instant messaging system with more options and enhanced security and privacy, give Supergram a go.
Requirements and additional information:Minimum operating system requirements:
Android 4.1.The installation of the app by means of the APK file requires the activation of the "Unknown sources" option within Settings>Applications.
