The long wait is over, the official Stremio app is finally available for Android devices. For several years, this platform for watching movies, series, and YouTube channels from one single place had become popular as one of the best ways to enjoy our favorite audiovisual content from the computer, whether Windows, Mac, or Linux, but now, we can bring that experience to our smartphone or tablet.

Therefore, this is the definitive application to enjoy everything we can watch, all in one place, our smartphone. Whether it is the latest episode of our favorite series, the new movie awarded by the most important awards ceremonies in the world, TV channels specialized in sports, or the videos of our favorite YouTuber, we will find it all in this app.
How does Stremio for Android work?
If you have already used the desktop versions of this online streaming software, its mobile application will be very familiar to you. Once logged in, we will find the usual tabs of this program where all the contents are organized:
Board: the panel where we will find recommendations and from where we will be able to resume the playback we have left halfway through.
Discover: where we will find the best contents of the moment classified in movies, series, YouTube, and television.
Library: our personal library where we can add all the audiovisual content we want to follow.
It works in the same way as the Windows version, just select what you want to watch and choose one of the add-ons available for streaming playback via P2P. There are free ones while other official ones require a paid subscription.
Is the app in English?
Yes. All the interface elements are in English (many other languages are also available), and the technical data of each production and the synopses are found only in English. As for the contents, they are played in the original version, but we have the option of adding subtitles in virtually any language.
iPhone and iPad version? If you have an Apple mobile device, you are in luck, because since February 2017, there is already an official Stremio app to watch your favorite series and movies directly on your iOS phone or tablet.
