Stories of Bethem is an RPG with a traditional gameplay and graphics where you control Khoma, a boy whose family has been cursed by the famous Blue Witch of Bethem. This boy must head out on an adventure to re-establish order in his world.The gameplay in Stories of Bethem is very similar to Zelda for Super Nintendo and Gameboy. You can move freely through very large spaces where you have to face all types of dangers: traps, obstacles, puzzles, and enemies, lots of enemies.Unlike Link (the main character in Zelda), the hero in Stories of Bethem doesn't use a sword, but magic. You can find many different spells that let you do much more than just fight enemies. The first spell in the game, for example, lets you cut bushes, and later on you can find spells to move heavy rocks.Stories of Bethem is a traditional RPG in every sense: both the gameplay and graphics are really old-school. And in this case that's a good thing. The game works perfectly in every aspect, offering a long and entertaining adventure. When you finish it, you can also play in Glory mode, a sort of 'New Game +' that's even more difficult.
