One of the paradoxes that occur in the First World is that of the working poor and the Steady app is, once again, a perfect excuse to talk about Marxism. But we're not going to do it this time, we'll just gloss over the functions of this app and leave it up to you to decide whether or not to be confused when you're talking about socialism and communism, parapetted behind a flag.
Supplement your income with extra jobs
It is an application that offers its users the search for part-time work, few hours, with the euphemism complete your income. That is to say, it is possible that you have a 40-hour work week and still don't have enough money to pay your bills. I'd say that's common in the United States, where this app works, but it's becoming more common in more countries.
Here you will find job offers near your place of residence, as well as offering you control over your income that will allow you to find out if you are reaching your goal or not. It has an advanced search, with all kinds of filters, to find your second, third and even fourth job, which will allow you to pay the bill for that surgery that came out of your pocket because your country sold the Healthcare to private insurers.
The app uses all this positive jargon from some marketing school to encourage you to do the Paulo Coelho thing, so that when you are working as a delivery man after your work day you don't feel chewed up and spat out by The Machine. But it's also true that, since you're going to be whored, it's better to see pleasant colors than the gray sky and the mud of a concentration camp.
Does it fulfill the function that it proposes? Yes, in that it is impeccable and that's why it gets good marks. Should it exist because there are users who need this app? No. Duffo or death.
