SpyDer is an arcade platformer where you have to help a spider climb as high as it can. Along the way, you have to dodge stones, stalactites, and wasps, which will all stop you dead in your tracks if they touch you.The gameplay in SpyDer works like this: touching the screen makes the spider jump, helping you avoid some of the obstacles in each level; whereas quickly double-tapping the screen makes the spider shoot a web out and hang from the ceiling. If you hold your finger down, the spider swings and moves to the next platform.That transition - from the ceiling of one level to the floor of the other - is a complicated maneuver. There are usually obstacles on both the floor and ceiling, so you have to move quickly and carefully if you want to keep going.SpyDer is an entertaining arcade game. Although it's pretty similar to other games in the genre, it does add a few unexpected twists to keep you on your toes. It also has lovely graphics and accurate controls.
