SHAKTI: A User-Friendly App for Women's SafetySHAKTI is a free Android application launched by Saanjh Punjab Police India, highly recommended for women's safety. To start using this app, the user needs to register and enter the registration key (OTP) received after successful registration. Once the user raises an SOS alert from the app, the location information is immediately transmitted to Punjab Police control room and their predefined numbers. The police can then send the nearest help to the victim.
