Remixed Pixel Dungeon is a remake of the popular open-source roguelike Pixel Dungeon that includes some interesting novelties in comparison with the original. That said, the concept is the same as always: you try to get as far as possible in a dungeon full of monsters and traps. At the beginning of each round you can choose to play a warrior, a mage, a rogue, a huntress, or an elf. This last character class is new and exclusive to Remixed Pixel Dungeon. The gameplay is very similar to traditional roguelikes: you advance through the levels in a dungeon, face enemies in turn-based battles, collect and equip your character with the best weapons and armor you can find, get experience, and level up. In short, you try to survive as long as you possibly can. Among the most noteworthy novelties in Remixed Pixel Dungeon are the language options, the new character class, and the new settings and enemies (including a few new bosses). Remixed Pixel Dungeon is an excellent roguelike that takes the best of the genre classics and puts them together with a modern control system and charming pixelated graphics. Another good addition to the Pixel Dungeon collection.
