ReMake Pixel Dungeon is a remake of the popular open-source roguelike Pixel Dungeon. As expected, this version includes some new features. The premise is the same as always, however: you try to get as far as you can in a dungeon full of monsters and traps.At the beginning of each game, you can choose from various character classes: warrior, clergy, and mage, all unlocked from the get-go; and hunter, elf, and rogue, which you'll have to unlock as you play.The gameplay is very similar to traditional roguelikes: descend through the levels of the dungeon, facing off against tons of enemies in turn-based combat. Every time you kill a monster you get experience points, with which you can level up, plus coins, to help you get a better score. You can also equip yourself with all kinds of objects: swords, crossbows, armor, stones, helmets, gloves, and so on.Some of the most interesting new features included in ReMake Pixel Dungeon include new areas in the dungeon, new food and drinks, new enemies and traps, and even special new artifacts that gain power as you play.ReMake Pixel Dungeon is another excellent roguelike to add to the increasingly large Android catalogue. Another great release from the Pixel Dungeon line, which rarely disappoints.
