Rainy Day - Remastered is a 2D arcade game where players take over the life of a salaryman trying to find a way to navigate the city streets on a terribly rainy day. The main problem here, though, is that he's forgotten his umbrella. As such, your task is to keep him as far as possible from rainfall and avoid moisture at any and all costs. Controllers in Rainy Day - Remastered are extremely straightforward and intuitive: towards the left of your screen you'll find two buttons to move from side to side, and on the right there's a jump button. From time to time this action button switches from jumping to allowing you to interact with other characters. Although this will normally just mean dodging obstacles; once in a while you'll also be able to chat with shop keeps or feed the occasional stray. Anytime you feed a cat, you'll earn a heart which when deployed will save you from being hit by a raindrop. Similarly, when you pick up boxes, paper hats or umbrellas you'll be allotted an additional number of free hits from raindrops, which will really come in handy as there are more than a few that'll fly right past you and slosh your salaryman hard. Rainy Day - Remastered is a simple, fun and light-hearted game with a lot of its own personal charm. Not to mention that its decidedly retro visuals are on fleek.
