Puzzle Fighter is a review of the classic Capcom game now fully re-designed and specifically developed for smartphones and tablets. Players control some of the most charismatic characters in the Capcom Universe and fight via puzzles against both AI and live players over the Internet.Gameplay for this Puzzle Fighter is identical to that of the original game. From the top of the screen falling colored blocks match up below to get eliminated - just like in Tetris. Occasionally, in addition to blocks, luminous colored balls drop and explode the blocks below inflicting major damage to your enemies. For starters, you'll only have access to Ryu and Chun-Li, both popular Street Fighter characters. Now, as you play, you unlock more than a dozen characters, including Frank West of Dead Rising, Morrigan from Darkstalkers and Haggar from Final Fight, among others. Each character has their own special abilities, which can be used when creating large squares or rectangles on the game board. Puzzle Fighter is a well-crafted revision of an already excellent game. It has great visuals and several unique game modes.
