Candy Mania is a fun puzzle/game of skill that takes open inspiration from the popular Candy Crush Saga, with which it shares not just the basic gameplay but also similarities in ambience and graphics.People who've already played the candy-breaking game par excellence will likely find Candy Mania to be simply a less sparkly and less smooth copy of the original. Though the gameplay itself remains intact and the premise is basically the same in both titles, this one shows a certain slackness in the details that doesn't manage to compensate for the lack of originality. Still, these drawbacks might easily prove to be positives for someone who's been left without levels or lives in the original game and wants to spend a bit of time mindlessly crushing candies until the life bar refills or an update arrives with new levels.
