Android devices already have a feature to search for nearby WiFi networks and connect to them. As you know, all you need to do is simply pull down the notification bar to access it. However, Permanent WiFi is an app that tries to optimize this process so the user always has a continuous and stable Internet connection in order to avoid having to depend on mobile data.

This Brazilian app, also known as WiFi Visible, lets your mobile device receive an Internet connection through a wireless network and also share the connection with other devices. Its uniqueness lies in the fact that it will take advantage of the headphones to gain connectivity, as an antenna. However, you may well be disappointed when you run it because it is not going to offer more advanced functionality in this regard than Android offers.
On the other hand, it is interesting that an application that in principle serves to connect to wifi networks requests access to the device's multimedia gallery, with specific functions in its main interface for sharing videos and photos, supposedly with other devices and apps.
