Orna: A Geo-RPG is–as its title might suggest–an RPG that combines classic RPG-esque features (think turn-based combat and retro feels) with another much more modern twist: geotagging and AR.Starting out in Orna: A Geo-RPG; your character begins as might any other RPG hero. You pick between several castes, from there your hero becomes a warrior, sage or thief; and you can set them up with a series of specific skills and equipment to follow suit. Take warriors, for example, they come armed with weapons that are unavailable to sages and so on and so forth. Where Orna: A Geo-RPG really strays from its genre standards is in its game development. Rather than lurking your way through dungeons displayed on your phone; you'll actually be outside moving around in the real world outside in your own city—not unlike PokemonGO or Ingress. The only real difference here is that instead of capturing portals or adorable Pokémon, you'll be fighting the dark forces of evil creatures of the night.Battling monsters means you're making strategic moves whenever it's your turn. As each battle begins you choose whether or not to attack, defend, use an item or make a run for it. Of course, winning battles means gaining experience points that'll you level you up and more improvements to your character's skills and armor will unfold.Orna: A Geo-RPG is a unique RPG that's fun and provides you with a gaming experience that's at a halfway between PokemonGO and your standard RPG. All in all, its graphics, geolocated implements and loads and loads of secrets make for an off-the-walls, dungeon filled epic adventure.
