Offline Rogue is a very simple roguelike where your objective is to descend into the depths of a dungeon and defeat the leader of an evil cult. Of course, along the way, you'll have to fight off enemies and avoid traps, too.The controls in Offline Rogue are simple: on the left side of the screen, there's a virtual D-pad for moving your character, and on the right, there's an attack button. In the upper left corner, there's also a button to check your inventory, where you can drink potions or equip new weapons and armor.Unlike other roguelikes, in Offline Rogue, you only have two attributes: attack and defense. Your attack value indicates the number of hearts you remove from your enemy's total with each attack, while your defense value reduces the damage inflicted by your enemies. You can boost these values with weapons, potions, and armor.Offline Rogue is a very simple roguelike with easy controls (unlike other games in this genre) and a high level of difficulty, although it never feels overly frustrating. Its graphics are also quite good, especially when compared to other games in the genre.
