Nova Launcher is one of the favorite launchers amongst fans of customizing their Android devices. It comes along with all sorts of elements to be modified and added such as new themes, icons, effects, widgets, the possibility to carry out backups or a hidden task manager.
However, it lacks one thing, or at least it used to: it wasn't integrated into Google Now, the smart personal assistant developed by the guys at Mountain View. Now, the developers of this famous launcher have released a companion app that precisely adds this function, enabling Google Now in Nova Launcher: Nova Google Companion.
Access Google's feed and assistant from your smartphone's home screen with Nova Launcher.
How to install Nova Google Companion
Step 1: download and install the APK file from our green Download button (remember to enable the option to install apps from Unknown Sources in your phone's settings if you've never downloaded an app outside of Google Play).
Step 2: make sure you've got version 5.2-beta2 or above of Nova Launcher. Update if not.
Step 3: go to Settings > Applications > Nova Launcher > Google Now, and enable the option.
Requirements and additional information:Minimum operating system requirements:
Android 5.0.The installation of the app by means of the APK file requires the activation of the "Unknown sources" option within Settings>Applications.
