NecroMerger is an entertaining casual video game with an original and fun premise, whose mechanics are similar to what you might have seen in other games within the merge games subgenre. This time, you control the Necromerger, a powerful cultist, whose mission is none other than to feed his god, the Devourer, openly inspired by the mythical cosmic entity created by H.P. Lovecraft, Cthulhu.The gameplay in NecroMerger is as follows: your job is to create increasingly tasty items to feed to and grow the Devourer. This is done using the giant mouth that spits out different materials from the bottom of the screen, which, when fused, produce higher level objects or items capable of generating their own objects (for example, a cemetery is capable of producing bones, which, when fused, produce skeletons that can be fed to the Devourer. The higher the level of the items you feed it, the more power points the Necromerger will get. At first, you can only summon small skeletons and very little else. But, you'll gradually be able to open portals, attract heroes, warriors and increasingly strong and tasty creatures to offer up to this god. NecroMerger is a fun game with extraordinarily well-designed graphics (retro pixel aesthetics) and simple but entertaining mechanics; perfect if you're also a fan of the occult.
