You might get your phone stolen, lost, wet or broken, or you may simply have deleted something by mistake... All these situations sound horrifying, don't they? But many times it's not actually the phone we're worried about but its contents. What about the photos taken during your holidays? And that concert ticket saved in your wallet? Or your precious contacts? Here's our piece of advice: there's a thing called a backup. If you've got your Android associated with your Google account, you'll probably have a backup of your contacts there but if you don't know how to load it on your phone, we offer you an easier alternative thanks to this tool developed by Globile - OBSS Mobile.
Make a backup and restore all your contacts on your phone with a single screen tap.
How does it work?
Creating a backup of all your contacts on Android is easier than what you may think. If you don't know how to do so straight from your phone, there are loads of apps that can do it for you. MCBackup - My Contacts Backup is one of them. How it works is very basic and simple: just switch it on and patiently wait for it to find all the contacts saved on your device. Once analyzed, just tap the green Backup button to create a file that you can send straight to your email or any cloud storage system to save your copy.
You don't need to synchronize with any server.
The file will be stored in VCard format (VCF), which can be read on any device. When you want to restore it, just open the file and all the contacts will be immediately recovered. And it's completely free of charge. You can choose whether to save the photo attachments or not and set notifications to remind you to create periodical backups to make sure you don't lose any information.
