Dead Ahead is an action game where you play a kid fleeing a zombie onslaught. Unfortunately ... those zombies run. Luckily, though, you've got a motorbike to get away from them on while dodging endless obstacles and running over or gunning down hundreds of the undead. The further you get on your flight the more points and money you'll collect. With this money you can, as usual, buy things to keep playing with: new bikes and new weapons, to be precise. Starting out all you have is a small, rather flimsy motorcycle, but as you play on you can get some much more imposing ones. You can even get new weapons like machine guns, shotguns, and various other models of firearms. There are lots of things to keep in mind during each round. On one hand are the zombies that pursue your character, which you can shoot with whatever weapon you're carrying, and on the other the many obstacles you have to veer around. Crashing into a car could kill you, but so could an excessive slowdown if you attempt to run over too many zombies at once. Dead Ahead is a fun arcade game that's got a simple and addictive game system and a delightful aesthetic. Plus this version of the game has several motorcycles, settings, and unlockable weapons to collect bit by bit.
